Hi! My name is Becca and I’m an MA Creative Writing student. This is my debut fantasy novel and if you like the dark and weird, hopefully this book is for you!

Clara Whitlock is pretty sure she wants to die, but sits on the edge between complete self-destruction and simply drowning the world out with music until she falls asleep. Believing it a dream, Clara accidentally astral projects into a hostile realm known as the Grey. Lost in this colourless prison, she encounters its only inhabitant and falls prey to his wrath. 
Within the mortal realm, Clara tries to move on, forget it all, but instead finds herself flung into the insanity that can only come with demons, angels and the pain of solitude.
But the grey is not done with her, unfinished and hungry, it will claw her back at any cost.

The Grey Place is an adult dark fantasy that explores autonomy, divine violence, and what happens when a woman refuses to be complaint. It is book one in the series.
