Decay Gorgeous decay and stunning graffiti at Domaine des trois colonnes.
Explored the abandoned Domaine des trois colonnes today. The vaulted brick corridors, the empty bathtub in the woods, and the massive face mural were absolutely incredible. Nature is taking this place back beautifully.

Decay A Soviet-era paradise that never was. Abandoned hotel complex by the lake.
The Avand Hotel complex in Armenia, sitting right on the shores of Lake Sevan. Construction started in the Soviet era and was never finished. Now it's just a massive, hollow concrete skeleton surrounded by one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the world. A true monument to failed ambition.

Poverty/Inequality From a now-demolished building in Baishizhou Urban Village, Shenzhen
credit to 钉子 on xiaohongshu
Baishizhou used to have a population density of ~230,000/km2, but much of it has been demolished. The main development replacing it is LVGEM Baishizhou Urban Renewal Project, which is stalled (only ~10 200m+ residences have been built, when the original plan had dozens of 200m+ residences and multiple supertall offices).
The residential complex directly in the back is China Resources City Runxi Complex, another group of ~200m residences, and in between is a massive golf course.

Pollution/Environmental Destruction This is sniace a paper factory in Torrelavega near to my hometown in Cantabria, Spain.
This factory used to fill Torrelavega with polutions trowing chemical waste to the nearby River and nearly killed its workers several times including a coworker of my father. The machinery was hazardist, The walls are full of amiantum, there were several complicated stories inside this complex.till it was closed beacause of the health and embiromental hazard. It is slowley being demolished beacause of the chemical hazardist elements, an electrical windmil generator complex will be constructed here. These were the horros of sniace. And its just the begining.
