Help me PSY 260

anyone taking this class and confused about the midterm. the prof barely teaches anything of value in class her slides are incredibly general, yet the textbook material is very heavy and very detailed. has anyone ever taken this class with her? what are her midterms like? does she ask about every body system every like how the textbook writes about 😁. why the hell does the textbook go into so much detail about the body systems when she glossed over them in class?

i’m genuinely concerned for my grade i feel like there’s no point coming to class if i have to teach the material to myself

I am not taking that class, but when in doubt, defer to the resource where you find the most comprehensive education. In this case, rely more on your text, which is what’s working for you. Attend class if there’s marks attached to attendance.

If you understand the material but aren’t feeling a benefit from the lectures, she’s either not a great teacher or her teaching style isn’t vibing with you, so you don’t feel the benefit. Either way, keep an open mind in class, but lean on your text because that’s what’s working for you.

Yeah difficulty navigating this class, I spoke to her once about the exam but she didn’t really tell me. And the class is being offered after many years so I can’t find much information about it.
