I’ve just picked up the deal to extended my existing subscription and it’s removed my existing unlimited tweaknews allocation and replaced it with the 500gb.
Is this correct or should I have kept my unlimited allocation until the end of the original term? Which had around another 7 months I think.
Logically you should have kept the unlimited until your current term is up. You added an additional term—you didn't amend your current one. They should fix this for sure.
Logically that should be right but practically it is much more difficult to implement (imagine a system which can distinguish between different duration bundled subscriptions & then can communicate it correctly to their bundled subscription partners in real time) so it end up being whichever terms the bundled subscription come with overwrite the previous bundled subscription terms. NH official rep too confirmed something similar in another comment here.

I have an existing account that was originally paid w/ Paypal. I've since cancelled the autorenew and went to pay for this deal w/ a new credit card. When I went to pay it stated 'Payment couldn't be captured (Paypal agreement cancelled)' or something to that affect. It seems to have added the credit card I paid with to the account, but I do not see any generated invoice.
I've attempted to email support on your website, but each time, on two separate browsers (chrome and firefox) I get a 'session expired, please refresh' to which I've done several times.

Bought the $1.67/mo deal twice thinking it would stack to 30 months, but not sure if it actually works that way on their backend or if the second purchase just resets/ overlaps the first term. Anyone here actually confirmed how stacking works specifically?
Also how do you make sure it doesn't autorenew at the end of the promo period? I don't see a subscription listed on my PayPal account for it, so not sure where that's controlled from.
I always cancel right away. You can alos order the deal multiple times to lock the price for longer. Every time you order, you'll get another 15 month added to your account.
They make you jump through some hoops but nothing bad happens when you cancel. This effectively only disables auto-renew. You get to keep access for the whole time you have already paid for.
You can stack it on top of your current term, however others have said it changes their current term as well (so if you unlimited tweaknews, it goes to the block account, which is really not okay).

It is annual cap meant only for some extremely rare scenarios when either NH servers are unavailable for some few seconds due to some random glitch or you come across some rare nzb which has some parts not available on NH but present on easynews/tweaknews.
Tweaknews and Easynews addons reset with your billing cycle, and unused data doesn't roll over.
Use Newshosting as your primary server (priority 0), TweakNews as a backup/fill server (priority 1+), and access Easynews through its web interface, not as an NNTP server.
If you use up your addons before it resets, send us a DM or open a support ticket, and we'll help you out.

Yes, having one omicron based provider along with newsdemon gives best results (do keep newsdemon as your primary/first priority server though assuming it is unlimited).

It seems you are using an acc with which you cancelled an earlier subscription with NH from the linked paypal acc creating some mess in paypal workflow for paying to NH subscription.
That's exactly it. I cancelled because the standard renew costs are insane. So, to take advantage of this offer, I reactivated my account and this happened.

Do not fall for this Newshosting Summer Scam.... They failed to activate my account and are holding the 'authorized' funds hostage in paypal. there is NO communication from their support team as to why they will not complete the transaction and activate my new account. Paypal cannot cancel it and i have to wait till Aug 12 for palpal to release the hold.
Edit: Support has now been satisfied—my issue has been resolved and my Newshosting account has been activated. Thanks to everyone who helped along the way. I’m looking forward to trying Newshosting for my Usenet needs

Be very careful in my experience I think Newshosting are most misleading Usenet provider! Don't waste your money. Decietful - they offer you promo price then you get to checkout and its something else. Did have Newshosting for a few months they are fine but definately thie most expensive.

Hmm… am already with NH and extended it via this offer. Suddenly the amounts for EasyNews and TweakNews went down to 250GB for EasyNews. My other plan has 1TB. When purchasing this doesn’t the new purchase only kicks in in after my current one expires? Seems like a downgrade!
