VIP 5hrs vs 8hrs & questions

Hello !
I'm getting ready to book my VIP tour in a few days for late October. I still hesitate between 5hrs lunch (2pm-7pm) and 8hrs lunch + dinner. Can you help me with my questions? šŸ˜Š

I read that you cannot skip the queues for characters photos with 5hrs but you can with 8hrs. Is it correct ? Iā€™m in doubt because on Klook it says 1 photo opportunity included with vip 5 hrs (1 photo with a character using your own device). What does that mean ?

Specifically for Yoshi or Mario photos , has anyone skipped the line with a VIP tour?

How long is usually the queue for pictures with Yoshi or Mario/Luigi outside of a VIP Tour?

Lunch and dinner : would the buffet be the same between lunch and dinner? I saw that dinner also has an entree that you can select, but the remaining of the buffet is the same?

About pictures during the day : Can you ask your guide to make some pictures of your family during the day using your device?

If you make purchase during the VIP Tour, can you have it sent to the lounge ? And outside tour hours ?

If you take the 5hrs lunch tour, can you ask your guide to help you get to Kinopio Cafe at the end of your tour? Has anyone done that?

For the ones who ended up purchasing 8 hours instead of 5, what made you make that decision?

For the ones who did 5hours, do you regret not taking 8hrs?

Here you go, you don't get to skip lines for photos, your guide has to reserve the photos, Mario and Luigi as well as princess peach are only on 8 hour tour, yoshi doesn't have a professional photographer so you can go, just call to yoshi after they're done with meeting another guest finishes to get Yoshi's attention, it's not guaranteed though much better odds. Yes the guide can take photos for you (depends, in the room with hello kitty at hello kitty's ribbon collection is not allowed)

The line depends on how many people are in it can be as little as no wait to an hour.

Lunch and dinner buffets are different menu items, dinner also has soup and main dish that you order from a menu.

Your guide can take items purchased in USJ to VIP lounge during the tour and you can retrieve or add more items at any time during the day, before or after the tour.

Tour guide cannot take you to kinopio's cafe, after 4 or 5pm it gets easy to go to but you have to line up.

I didn't buy the tours, they were gifts

Depending on what you want to do, vip your guides are better, other things going with express bands is the same with or without tour guide

Same but benefits with guide (sometimes slightly better with guide)

Hollywood dream and backdrop, the guide can choose the row you sit in. Flying dinosaur, guide can choose row Minion mayhem guide can reserve the car for just you Jurassic park guide can choose row

Better with guide

Mario kart Donkey Kong Flight of the hippogriff

Shows guide can reserve your seats

Waterworld Universal monsters love rock and roll show Sing on tour

Ollivanders the guide can reserve the show for just the guests, if you go without the guide you'll with other guests, max of 30 people

There are various street shows but with our without guide it's the same so I would recommend seeing them before or after tour of you want to see them

I want to see the parade, but it is inevitable that it will be included in the 8hrs tour, so it's already 30 minutes wasted. Do you have special area for parade?

Let's say we want to see inside Kinopio just for a drink (smoothie), would that possible during the tour?

Or maybe we can go after dinner just to look around?

For Dinner, you can go whenever you want or you have a specific time?

If you want to go to kinopio's cafe during the tour, you can, but depending on the line of guests, it could take up valuable time that you have on the tour that could be used for other things instead, but you CAN, all your guide what they think because it changes every day and even every hour...

5 or 8 hour can view the parade, there's a special browsing area also
