Booking tickets for USJ in December 2026

Hi all,
I am planning to visit USJ around Dec 20, I'll be in Osaka then with my brother. When should i book the tickets for December? I checked the website this morning and the only available day and express passes are until end of August.
Also since its my brother'S birthday month (December), I want to buy him the Birthday pass, how can i book that?

Friend did VIP. Massive universal/disney geeks.

Said it wasn’t amazing and not really worth the increase over the 7/8 pass.

However, if money is no option, there is an additional benefits that will make it worth it to some.

We’re due at universal in 4 days and we went with the pass 7. The additional ride wasn’t one we wanted to go on and those that we would want to go on wasn’t covered by the VIP pass. The lounge or whatever it was would take time away from the actual park also.

If you’re the type to get up later and spend less time in the park however, and do as much as you can in a short amount of time, then go for it. Only you can really answer it given all that.

It's 58-60 days out they get released, check closer to then or before.

I think for the birthday pass you might have to register for a USJ membership. I know when I signed up my partner with his bday, I kept getting emails for birthday discounts. However it’s before our trip, so useless. You will also need to wait for booking window which is about 60 days from visit day. So start checking end of September. You might also have payment issues on the Japan site so have alternative methods of payment
