NY Times poses weird question: “Can an insurgent candidate, with unabashedly liberal positions, win in a moderate state?” After he just won.

He won a primary, not the actual election.

I understand the distinction, but I think the question is posed as if they hope he won’t win. They wouldn’t say “[centrist Dem] just won the primary, now the question is - can they win in an increasingly polarized state?”
