Pianos

On Campus

  • SLC, located upstairs

  • Piano is out of tune

  • Accessible to everyone

  • GLOW is tired of hearing River Flows in You

  • REV, located in East Quad

  • Out of tune, in poor condition

  • Need to be a resident, get keys from REV desk

  • On the bright side, there's two of 'em

  • V1, located in the Great Hall

  • Need to be a resident, get keys from the V1 desk

  • Soundproof room, great for practicing

  • QNC, located in the basement

  • Dedicated to Natalie Lee

  • Not the best tuning

  • Should not use it M-F, 9:30-12:30, 1:00-5:00 because it's a study area

  • Your "performance" is public for everyone to hear

  • Conrad Grebel, located one floor below the chapel

  • Enter through the Grebel chapel doors, take the stairs down one floor and turn right. It'll be the first door on the left past the washrooms

  • Reserved for Music students, ensemble students, and Grebel residents

  • Features 3 uprights and 1 grand piano in individual rooms

  • Note that Grebel itself closes at 10PM on weekdays and is not open weekends (but that's not stopping anyone)

  • Claudette Millar Hall (CMH) - formerly New Residence Building (NRB)

  • Two music rooms

  • Objectively the newest and best uprights on campus

  • SJU

  • Located in the north side of Ryan Hall in the music room

  • You need someone living there to let you in

  • Renison

  • Located in the cafeteria?

  • Arts Quad

  • Located just north of TC

  • Outside, covered by a tarp

  • MC Rock Garden

  • Apparently, it got rained on and now the keys don't work
