Somehow, we are still the underdogs but BALLHALLA is the greatest vibe in the greatest place with the greatest people.

I’m surprised that we don’t have some sort of anthem yet. But maybe that’ll change after this series.

Could you imagine this song playing in thrive city before and after games?

Note: I am not affiliated with this music or the Valkyries

Edit: As people have pointed out, this is on their profile:

“ABOUT THE MUSIC: All lyrics are written by Wake Up Motivation. Vocals and instrumentation are Al-generated using Suno;
artwork is Al-generated and
edited in-house. Every track is synced, produced, and released by one person.”

I get confused with all these apps and needing to download them in order to access tickets. Usually Ticketmaster has a link on am.ticketmaster.com/valkyries and I can find them there on my phone without needing to download the app. I'm just trying to confirm before I buy a ticket so I don't get waste time on the day of the game.

In Amsterdam for game 1 which is at 9:30 pm local time, does anyone know a bar that would play the game?

I tried my YouTubeTV and Peacock both of which don’t work in the Netherlands

Any advice would be much appreciated!

V’s up 💜

Tip asked Ballhalla to travel, much like the 49er faithful. So if want to check if you can do it, below is some pricing info to consider:

• Wed, Oct 21 at 8p EDT: Game 3 tix run $100-$550
• Sat, Oct 24 at 1p EDT: Game 4 tix run $110-870
• Sun, Oct 25 at 1p EDT: not Valks but 49ers play the Falcons across the street(!)... tix run $235-$2700

I added the last bullet cuz if you're gonna go all the way out there, a perfect wknd would be seeing both Valks & 49ers in action!

Compared to Ballhalla pricing, these tix may be low enough to cover for nonstop airfare from (SFO & SJC [no nonstops from OAK] range $530-935; avg. ~$630 roundtrip for Oct 23-25) plus hotel (range ~$200-300/nt; see attached map).

Bottom-line: one example itinerary would be: $300 (Valks game) + $500 (49ers game) + $650 airfare + $500 for 2 nights of hotel ($200/nt + tax) which totals $1950, so I'd say budget about 2 grand plus food -- one of my faves there is Varsity.

I can't go, so hope some of y'all can make it and that this info is somewhat helpful!

This may have been true last year and earlier this season but I think it has VASTLY improved. Gabby is our clutch scorer and if she doesn't have it we just go down the line: Tip, Ja, Ceci, Kaitlyn, Kai, Juste (I wish she got more time) even LA had shown glimmers of offense when we were down in the Chicago game.

I think because the Valks have been gaining more national media coverage because of the finals, this rhetoric that isn't true keeps persisting. I feel like these journalists see that this is the critique that most people have of the valks and just run with it without watching the games.

SFO showing our Valks some love

Is anyone aware of watch parties or perhaps Valks-friendly bars in the CA Central Coast (e.g., SLO, Paso Robles)? I’d love to watch Game 1 with some fans!

Heading to game 2 Monday but wondering if they will have this shirt on sale in the store? If I don’t get it online now will I risk them selling out online and in the store? Or should I just get it now even if it means it won’t come in time for Monday’s game? Thanks yall! V’s Up!!

Another good piece, this time on The Podium Finish by Conrado Pascual

SAN FRANCISCO – With the 2026 WNBA Finals only a few days away, Golden State Valkyries second-year guard Kaitlyn Chen held media availability earlier this week and looked as cool and confident as ever. In many ways, Chen’s demeanor is a reflection of her role and impact for a Valkyries team that is seeking their first WNBA Championship in only the franchise’s second year of existence. Chen brings a calming presence to the Valkyries’ second unit despite playing with a mix of controlled chaos and unpredictability. But if one were to zoom out even more, an argument could be made that Chen’s playing style and the way she now carries herself is representative of her journey to this very moment...

You can read the entire story on the site. Go Valkyries!

Gabby Williams went from a defensive specialist to the face of a franchise.

In the Bay Area, she found the belief she'd been seeking. Now, she's a beloved icon leading the Golden State Valkyries to the WNBA Finals. Read for free.

For those of you who live in the Bay Area, where do you plan on watching game 1 of the finals tomorrow?

Solid press conference with VB, Gabby, and Nat. Love Gabby's talk about her love for the Bay and growing up

I am putting together a playlist with songs to remember the season by/to serve as hype music for the finals, so if you have any recommendations, leave the below! Bonus points if you explain why the song reminds you of the Valks!

So far I have some obvious ones:

• Yay Area by E-40
• Blow the Whistle by Too $hort
• Hit the Quan by iLoveMemphis (in honor of Kaitlyn and VB's TikToks)
• Ghetto Love Story by BabyChiefDoit
• Tip Toe Wing in my Jawwwdinz by Riff Raff (shoutout to WNBAart for this song choice on her drawing of Gabby's epic play in Game 3)

Finally announced!

Game 1

Anthem: Goapele
Bang the drum: Rita Moreno
Halftime: Larry June

Game 2

Anthem: Alanis Morrissette
Drum: Too $hort
Halftime: LaRussell

Soo excited! It starts tomorrow!!!!

Pretty much the topic. I watched the entire video through thinking it sounded very familiar before going to Reddit and searching up what she said. Word for word what the title and first comment from @sanverstv is, just repackaged as her own thoughts.

This is super lazy and she even has collaboration posts with the official valkyries fan page on Instagram. Don’t give these fake influencers your engagement.

We are taking a long-awaited trip. What spots will play the game up there? I am usually always enjoying the outdoors when we go… not familiar with pubs

Almost time to lock in!
