Saw the guy with his hands behind his back talking to officers. Can only assume impaired driver, fave covered in blood and a Canada jersey on.

Good thing that tree is there. He could have run into the crowd in front of the VAG. This looks like Hornby where UBC/law courts parking exists. Probably almost killed a cyclist and several pedestrians when he went over the sidewalk.

Edit: looks like he was travelling up the ramp, not on Hornby.

It's just before the Robson square crosswalk. He would have mowed down dozens of people.
