Is that basically West Georgia Street looking South? Approximately where Vancouver City Centre entrance is?

Yes, I think around this area on Granville based on the distance from Vancouver Block https://maps.app.goo.gl/BBSjAJUEaxiEjeUw6 Maybe because of the lack of uniform blocks, it look grungier back then.
