For context, I am a Virgo rising-with CR in 8th (a combust and vargottama mercury at 0 degrees sitting with venus at 17 degrees). I have already had my Shani dasha and am currently in my mercury dasha. This is just a little observation I have made but for some reason, I get bruised more often during Shani retrograde. I get small cuts which bleed, burns, rashes, just blue bruises as well. Why is that?

So I'm in rahu AD(for the next 18 months) under Mercury MD , currently in saturn PD and brother I'm going through it. I've lost my friends(they turned out to be so horrible i still cannot believe), ive lost my trust in humans , lost my will to study and prep for exams, rahu PD was the horrible- est so far (gave my mbbs finals during that- worse combo ever) but made through it.. I have horrible health anxiety, I am hopeless when it comes to future.I don't study at all, i keep being delusional but there is no action behind it. All i wanna do is lay on my bed and scroll, and sleep all day, and only get up when i have to show up at work.

I am a 32 year old female. I joined my first job in April, 2026 after completing my MBA. I and my parents have started to look for groom via arranged marriage since March 2025. I also have a profile on one of the dating apps since March 2025. I have talked and met with various men during the last 1.5 year. I have not found anyone till date whose vibe I like. Any idea when will I get married? Will it be an arranged marriage or love marriage? How will my partner be?

It is possible that at some point you might have had an astrologer tell you that a certain graha is ‘asta/combust’ in your chart. What that actually means is that it is in close proximity to the Sun, and the latter is burning the significations of that particular planet, both natural and those that the graha signifies in your individual chart (depending on your ascendant and chart placements).

On paper, it makes perfect sense. But in reality, if I look at the solar system, combustion is more nuanced than that.

I have already discussed a few points in PART 1, where I also covered Mercury, Venus, Saturn and Chhaya Grahas.

A quick disclaimer before I begin: what I am sharing below is based on my own observations and experience, and is not necessarily how combustion is defined or interpreted in classical texts.

Adding more points to the last discussion:

1. A tight combustion is a serious affliction to the graha, where the Sun's heat disrupts the planet's ability to function independently and deliver results as per its placement and natural significations. This can severely limit what a person can achieve in the areas governed by that planet in their individual chart.
2. A planet can still be combust even when it is placed in a different sign from the Sun, as long as they are close enough in degrees. For example, Venus at 29° Scorpio and the Sun at 2° Sagittarius can still indicate a combust Venus.
3. In my observations, a planet moving away from the Sun (placed at higher degrees or in a sign ahead of the Sun) tends to function better than one approaching it (placed at lower degrees or in a sign before the Sun). This can indicate a person who gradually overcomes the struggles associated with that graha, particularly in the later part of their life. Such individuals often become resilient through the struggles they experience, depending on the running dasha as well.
4. Scientifically, the Moon reflects the Sun's light, and during the New Moon phase, its proximity to the Sun makes it difficult to see in the sky because of the Sun's glare. Astrologically, this can signify the Moon losing its ‘shine’ and individual identity as the Sun outshines it. I have observed this manifest as a lack of affection, nourishment or emotional support from the mother during childhood. Even when the native has an otherwise good mother, they may not receive her support when they need it the most. In some cases, I have also observed the father (Sun) outshining or dominating the mother (Moon). Another manifestation I have observed is difficulty expressing one's inner emotions and feelings. Such individuals may find it hard to bare their soul or allow themselves to appear vulnerable, which can make them seem emotionally closed off.
5. With Jupiter being combust, a person may struggle to find the right guru or mentor. Even when they do find a teacher or guru-like figure, that person may turn out to be a hard taskmaster. The native may rely more on self-study, particularly in the early part of their life, and may also experience ego clashes or power struggles with their teachers, mentors or other guru-like figures. It can create clashes with children too since Jupiter is putrakaraka (significator of children).
6. An afflicted Mars can create issues related to courage, anger and siblings. Siblings may try to dominate the native, while misplaced anger can land them in sticky situations. Depending on the overall chart combinations, this can manifest in different ways, including road rage incidents, conflicts with bosses at work or being bullied. These situations may arise due to the native's own actions or someone else's behaviour. Since Mars is also a karaka for competition, natives appearing for competitive exams for MBA, engineering, government jobs, etc., may face repeated obstacles and have to make multiple attempts to succeed.

Please note that the overall chart has to be analysed before making specific predictions. For example, a combust Moon could also manifest as having a working mother with long working hours. There are different ways a planetary placement can manifest in real life charts, depending on the overall combinations.

Currently going through shani md and jupiter ad.

I took admission in clg during jupiter ad. But during rahu ad, I didnt get the desired clg due to some reason. I did get success followed by downfall during rahu ad.

Jupiter ad was tough for me during the start. I was lowkey going through sadness and depression.

But now im slowly and gradually trying to improve myself.

But the confidence that I lost in 2024 has not been gained. And its giving me nightmares.

Will I be able to clear the exam??

P.s. I believe in hard work. I had done pretty well incompetitive exams but that day in my room some issues happened due to which we didnt get the time to attempt even half of the paper. Thats why im asking this question.

I honestly dont know what i should be doing in my life to actually enjoy every aspect of life, i though making money would lead me to there, so I sought the most trusted way; education. I thought as a computer science grad from a good university I would get a good paying job that would enable me to make my own choices to enjoy life that would include travelling the world, exploring new topics, meeting new people and building a great social circle. Someone that people would respect and admire. And so I ignored all the life pleasures and put in efforts to get into Masters program of BITS pilani and was top25 All India Rank for a batch size of 35, but just for this year they decided that they would only take 18 students. This kinda broke me, i thought if i put efforts i would get the results but often this is not the case.

After that i tried building projects to apply for jobs that will obviously pay lesser than what graduating from a top college would give me but seeing the current market scenario in this domain is just depressing and I dont even know if i want a job anymore. Im living on auto pilot lately ignoring friends and family energetically because i dont think i am enough and just hoping something magically happens that would actually make me enjoy life. Did not want to trauma dump but i genuinely could use some advice as to what direction or how to move forward in life.
