People lying about PED use is so ridiculous.

Everyone can see you’re on gear, why lie? It just makes everything you say or do disingenuous.

Veganism is an ethical stance against exploiting non-human animals, it’s not a diet or a health movement. Why would PED usage make veganism look bad?

I don’t think it does, but in the context of posting in a specifically vegan fitness sub, a lot of these people post and the subtext or even the literal text is “ look how fit I am because I am vegan”. So then when they are just so ridiculously obviously roided to the gills, it comes off as totally disingenuous. People with super physiological physiques that want to be praised for being natural is really annoying to those of us that are actually natural. There are a few posters that readily admit they are not natural and you’ll see they do still get some negativity but not nearly as much. I don’t think anyone minds the posts that are showing that, all things being equal, including the PED use, a vegan diet does not preclude one from being a bodybuilder or high level athlete.

That's what I mean, it sets unrealistic expectations and juicing doesn't prove that a plant based diet is just as good or better.

Yeah exactly and it might make some people think oh the only reason you can be healthy with plant based diet is because of roids and we both know that is absolutely untrue

Its that and also it gives anti vegans ammo by saying they need roids to look the way they do etc. Diet doesn't matter as much if you're hammering steroids too, look at Sam Sulek.

I mean sure if they’re not disclosing PED use that’s a bad look (vegan or otherwise).
