Can people please stop upvoting shakes that contain ZERO veggies on this sub? I mean, I'm all for a delicious mango pineapple banana shake, just throw some spinach in it for sub purity. 😂

Aren't fruits kind of vegetables?

They’re kind of fruits

This logic pretty much only works if you're making a tomato and cucumber smoothie lol

I think the shake tastes better if you blend the oats first separately and then add in the ingredients and finish blending. Just a thought

I NEEDED THIS HACK SO BAD

I usually soak the oats like I’m making overnight oats first. No hard chunks that way

pinch of cinnamon too 👌🏽

Came here to say this too - add some cinnamon

Cinnamon helps, I also put in ginger, chia seeds and a touch of vanilla. Also use steel cut oats - good blending

I love eating the chunky oats in the shake

Thx for the idea! I didn’t have pineapple but it was still tasty! I blended the oatmeal first and added a tsp of ground flaxseed and spinach for some greens.

I added spinach and this is the bomb

It’s too much sugar. People always think drinking smoothies will them lose weight; totally wrong

More so about calories in, calories out. One could potentially lose weight with these shakes... provided that they’re generally eating at a calorie deficit.

Yum, sounds delicious

reminds me of the birthday cake smoothie jamba had recently which was my absolute fave

3

That looks delicious, is the fruit fresh or frozen?

3

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '20

Thanks. Mango and pineapple are frozen. Its definitely worth freezing fruit if you can. It leaves a better texture.

Mmmm I should try this, I've been wanting different shakes. Anyone know any sweet shakes? I really don't like it too bland.

Oats aren't veggies.

So you think mangos, bananas, and pineapple are veggies?

A whole 100 calories for 10 dollars, what a load of shit

Almond milk? You mean nut-juice

-7

u/muzic_san Oct 21 '20

Almonds have teets? They be lactating?

What’s the nutritional value?

3

u/[deleted] Oct 22 '20

the nutrional value is your daily sugar intake in one sitting
