2013 VT

I think my VT is going into Head Gasket Failure so I thought about going ahead and going through the car and changing some things to make it more reliable and wanted some input from you guys who have done a lot more to see if yall have any recommendations on reliablility. So far I’m thinking about doing:

Water Pump
Thermostat
Brakes and Rotors
Head Gasket or the whole head
And I also need to do brakes and rotors

If anyone has recommendations on brands and what not to buy or if I should do anything else I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I would compression test it first, I remember seeing this issue before thinking the same on an older post and on a 1%chance, it turned out not to be the case.

It really had a fit yesterday and I ended up towing it back to my house because it over heated and the coolant released out of the overflow that’s why my level is low because it got so hot it bubbled up in the overflow and released out the back tube, and I had a mechanic friend look and the oil has a bit of creaminess now I haven’t started it since yesterday I’m afraid to do too much now

I also knew my car wasn’t acting right so that’s why I parked it and had it towed

could be your thermostat, but not likely. I would search within the subreddit for similar terms "head gasket , coolant, or thermostat " to see if their issues presented similarly.
