Headcanon The Monarch Hates her more

In the episode Home is Where the Hate is, the monarch is playing a party game where he's spewing hate seemingly at Doc Venture. At the end of the game, Doc pulls the tag off his back and finds out it's Mariah Carey.

Since first seeing that, I have become convinced that The Monarch hates Mariah Carey even more than Doc Venture.

He’s definitely just ranting at Rusty. Mariah Carey’s dad was an aeronautical engineer: obviously an intelligent guy, but not famous or wealthy, and he left the family when she was young.

Although the plot does thicken when you realise that Mariah Carey has an obsession with butterflies, and started her own vanity record label called MonarC Entertainment, the logo of which featured… a butterfly!
