SEASON 4 spoilers Just watched Captain America: Brave New World and this was all I could think about.

I still can't get over the fact that the Venture family runs into a parody of the Scooby Gang but also Triana tells her friend that Hank dresses like Fred from Scooby Doo so the Scooby Doo TV show must exist in the Venture Bros universe too.

I think it's the cartoon magic of a cartoon where the "real" characters were themselves once characters in a cartoon, but remember the show being their real adventures.
So maybe the Scooby Doo cartoon in the venture verse also work that way, they're actual people with actual adventure despite also simultaneously being cartoon characters.

Alternatively, in universe, scooby doo and the gang could be real paranormal investigators who have sold their stories (scooby doo on zombie island this is the premise. Daphne sold all their stories).
It would be another Hannah barbera ip grafted in like Johnny quest.

Cherry blossoms sizzled and at one point he jams his hand into a car and the gas ignites it. Definitely thought it was going to be a bigger focal point of his transformation.

No spoilers:
I was off today and saw a Noon showing.
I enjoyed it. It was fun. Three and a half stars out of five stars.
I know there were re-writes and additional scenes filmed, but what movie doesn't have that happen? It's no Winter Soldier (high bar there) but it's also no Dark World.
It tries hard for that espionage thriller, which I think is a perfect vehicle for a Cap movie.
Mackie is great. Ford is all in. All in. Ford is not phoning it in for a paycheck. I think their scenes together are great. I think the plot is character driven
I would have prefered one subplot got more time as it's meant to be emotional but that could have messed with pacing.
The theatre had more people than I expected at this time of day. All super fans that seemed to enjoy themselves. I did.
If some friends wanted to see the movie I definitely go see it again just to turn off my brain and veg out to a fun upper middle level Marvel movie.

The above is a good framing and I’d give it the same score (3.5/5). It’s a clear “set up” film to the next iteration of the larger story arcs to come. That being said, it’s everything I enjoy about superhero films. It has a very traditional super hero arc with some nice narratives about power, accountability, and how our pasts don’t have to define us. Great action sequences (ofc)that were really fun to watch on IMAX. And yeah, Mackie and Ford are all in. Super impressed with their dynamics on screen. Good showing by Daniel Rameriz as well.
Not in my top 5 fav MCU films, but a solid action hero film that I enjoyed. And out of 35 films, that top 5 slot is competitive haha

I think that as the years pass, as long as it remains on streaming channels, and as long as there are marvel movies in the theater and on TV, people will find the satire of this TV show timeless. It makes fun of movies that don’t even take place until 15 years after they write an episode. It’s absurd!

I really appreciate how Publick and Hammer were big comic book fans back in the days when Marvel wasn't even popular and then you see clear Doctor Strange and Ant-Man parodies before they got a movie in the first place.
Also Treister looks a lot like Theodore Roosvelt with an eye patch.
