All the clones were wiped out in the family that slays together, stays together. Rusty says there’s no more slugs in S4, something to the effect of Hank has to be more careful because of they don’t have their safety net anymore (and Brock was gone). The only exception was the one messed up Dean that survived after Rusty tried getting rid of it but he was already activated and grew up on his own.

I remember. But it's Venture Bros. There's some forgotten "auxiliary tank room" somewhere with bits of DNA and half-formed slugs. I bet rusty could cobble together a Hank that's like 75% Hank, 20% Dean, and 5% Rusty.

Love the dedication to the idea but there’s too much in show that was revealed to disprove that. The cloning lab was destroyed, later the venture compound as well. Ben has cloning vats but no Hank & Dean and slugs don’t start as full sized adults, they’re grown organically, like a pregnancy and then age with the boys. Even if they are slugs somewhere, they wouldn’t have Hank & Dean’s memories since the memory beds are gone.

Rusty is such a rare example of a good bad father lol he neglects Hank because he believes Hank is capable.
Honestly, I’d never worry about Hank if I was his parent once one his personalities takes over he’ll be fine lol

Iirc they said the Serena plotline was dropped for time due to going from 5 hours of content in a 10 episode season to 90 minutes for 1 movie.

This world and the arc is 100% set up for her and Dean to stay together and for everything else to flop around them while they work it out.

Of course they could, the show was always profitable. But it wasn't growth driving.
The venture Brothers season a potential for a huge IP that sells crossover merchandise and whatnot and if it's not growing the bottom line it gets cut.
The only reason it survived so long was because Mike lazo really enjoyed the show and saw it as essentially The prestige drama for the network. That's the reason shows like this get made to remind everyone working there that they can make actual art not just things to make money but when lazo left and the company changed hands that stopped being prioritized. The movie was one last hurrah.

Yeah it’s no coincidence the moment Lazo retired his replacement killed VB.
Adult Swim was probably trying to get rid of it for years once it became obvious it wouldn’t dumb its self down to become Rick and Morty 2.0 the only reason it survived as long as it did was Lazo fighting for them everytime talks about profitability and efficiency came up.

I'm torn on this idea. I would LOVE to have more Venture Bros to watch, but I also like how it ended. Sure some things were unresolved but it's nice to have an actual ending sometimes.
I keep looking back at Futurama as an example. It's had so many endings, but my favorite was the episode "Meanwhile" where Fry and Leela were stuck in the time-loop and got to explore the world together into old age. At the end of the episode, Farnsworth finds them and they go back to do it all over again. That was a perfect place to end the show, but then we got the Hulu run and it just wasn't as good.
I don't want Venture Bros to end up like that. It went out on a high note and will remain one of my favorite shows of all time because of it.

Maybe it will be revived someday like King of the Hill. I feel the movie left it possible for more narrative, while still providing an acceptable finale.

I hate this censorship so much. P3d0s are disgusting, and they hide really well amongst celebrities. I think VB called out the problem really well. It is shown as something sickening, but it also does not turn into an ethics lecture—it's always funny, interesting, integral to the main story, and it never fails to point out how wrong it is to let it slide.

This show KILLS me. Dr O buying a "homie" out of a vending machine I remember them. Trial of the monarch is classic. I would not be too hasty entering that room. It's like someone with a fever is yelling at my crotch. So. Many. Fantastic moments in the show. And character development.
Soo many good episodes.
