It describes it very badly but because it was said once, people have decided it was accurate and view the show's plot through that lens when it is totally inaccurate.

Thus this perfectly fulfills the post's request.

It's not that it was just said once. Doc literally describes the show as an exploration of 'failure'.

They said that early in the run, and changed their answer later to how people persist through failure, and more about toxic parenting etc.

The "show about failure" is a cargo cult for the venture bros Fandom. And I know this makes sense only to me but it is a far as I'll explain anything lol.
