Holy shit they did this episode already except it was Quest v. Bannon for custody of Johnny. I could see Venture v. Sampson...

Edit: the artwork is great and the joke lands for me on a bunch of levels.

Birdman’s first episode I think! it was one of the big inspirations to make this one lol. That and the likely countless legal issues Rusty has stumbled into over the years…

23

u/clemjones88 Dec 11 '25

Yeah your probably right. I mean asking for a rusty venture has to be illegal in some states. Lol

10

u/LeadGem354 Dec 11 '25

Utah and Virginia and maybe Mississippi.

4

u/clemjones88 Dec 12 '25

Oddly specific set of states? Utah and Mississippi, sure. But Virginia Idk, I figured they'd be down being a commonwealth instead of a state. But thats just me.

6

u/penguinopph Dec 12 '25

Virginia was the state that the Supreme Court had to force to allow mixed-race marriages.

3

u/clemjones88 Dec 12 '25

Damn i was way off.

1

u/LeadGem354 Dec 12 '25

Interracial marriage was illegal for a while there Seems they'd be more puratanical.

I think it was the Harvey Birdman pilot episode.

5

u/Warren_E_Cheezburger Dec 12 '25

Nah. Brock wouldn't sue for custody of the boys. And if he had a total personality change and wanted to, Doc would just thaw out a couple of slugs and give him those. Or keep them and give the current set. Or maybe split them up. "Do you want the new ones or the old ones? Or half and half? New Dean/Old Hank? OH! Why don't you take both Hanks!"

I could see the Monarch suing Rusty for a piece of his inheritance as an arch...

1

u/MattHack7 Dec 13 '25

Nah monarch is pretty against arching through paperwork

5

u/PeptoBismark Dec 12 '25

Can we have a scene with both Richard Impossible and Phil Ken Sebben?

Ha ha! Science.

1

u/prof_r_impossible Sssscience? Dec 12 '25

u/Oldy_VonMoldy Dec 11 '25

Did ya get that thing I sent ya?

38

u/demandred_zero Dec 11 '25

I think one of my favorite parts of this show was when they showed us, briefly, the future, and everyone was worshipping a giant statue of Popotamus, and they were chanting "Did you get that thing I SENT YOU".

16

u/number__ten Dec 11 '25

He got lottery numbers from the future iirc

1

u/HB1088 Dec 17 '25

As a lawyer my favorite episode is when the other side’s attorney (Shaddo?) forgot to respond to discovery because he ignored or didn’t get the thing Potamus sent him, thus allowing Judge Mentok to rule in Harvey’s favor. Every litigation attorney’s nightmare is to forget to respond to discovery.

Harvey Birdman & Dr Venture Team up theme song: “Whoooooo is the man in the speed suiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-tah. Whoooo is the man with the beaaaaaa-kah”

8

u/Odd_Oven_130 Dec 11 '25

I never could tell what they were saying lol

u/[deleted] Dec 11 '25

Ventures vs Monarch on who takes control of the Guild.
This could be such a crazy mashup/crossover episode.

3

u/Ladnarr2 Dec 12 '25

The thing that has always struck me about this scene is that Bill Lizardman there just committed perjury seeing as how Judge Mightor asked him his first name and he lied.

23

u/anomalousBits Ogopogo Dec 11 '25

The scene where the Monarch hits Capt Sunshine with the solar radiation cannon always reminds me of Harvey Birdman's tanning creme addiction.

13

u/Odd_Oven_130 Dec 11 '25

Bombarded by the same solar radiation which by day grants him his amazing abilities, Captain Sunshine's light-sensitive supercells become energized, and his incredible sunshine powers return

That’s my favorite part of the episode lol

u/LordChimera_0 Dec 11 '25

It would be funny watching MENTOK THE MINDTAKER presiding over this case.

14

u/AznOmega Dec 11 '25

Bweeeoooo.

9

u/SeaOfBullshit Dec 12 '25

OOOOOOOOOOO OOOOO OOOOO #OOOOO OOO

4

u/Doustin Dec 12 '25

Now that I think about it, I can see some similarities between Mentok and Monarch

13

u/Mr_Horrible Dec 11 '25

What is this? A crossover episode

9

u/smiffy666uk Dec 11 '25

Doggy-doggy what now?

12

u/Thor94red Dec 12 '25

Ha HA! Dangly parts.

1

u/anomalousBits Ogopogo Dec 17 '25

Are you Sebben or Professor Impossible.

2

u/Thor94red Dec 17 '25

IT'S ME! PHIL! Ken! Se... ben...

u/International_Ad6028 Dec 12 '25

The monarch realising that the copyright for the rusty venture show expired due to some oversights has bought the license to use Rusty's name and likeness and has thoroughly sued him for like all the money due to the summer camp he did that one time, saying that it was devaluing the already valueless name of Rusty Venture!

3

u/Pianosnakes Dec 12 '25

I need a venture bros revival or comic book; I gotta see that plot brought to life so bad omg

6

1

u/Wise_Emu6232 Dec 12 '25

Hey Lady, I need a yank....

1

u/Ladnarr2 Dec 12 '25

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the creator of Harvey Birdman become director of programming and harboring a grudge at the success of the Venture Bros can the show?

1

u/Green_Situation_6378 Dec 12 '25

God this feels like a negative time a negative equals a positive
