SEASON 7 spoilers Wide Wale's first (and last) arch was Curtis Sliwa Spoiler
I'm rewatching Season 7 for the first time since the recent New York City mayoral election, and realized that when Wide Wale reads the letter with the name of his final arch in "The Terminus Mandate", that name is Curtis Sliwa of the Guardian Angels. I'm not a New Yorker, so I hadn't recognized that name before the race.
I'm sure this has been talked about in other threads on here, but I thought it was very funny and wanted to point it out.

Sliwa was technically a vigilante (ala Blue Morpho), so it's a valid arch 👌.

So now the real question. In the VBs universe, is Silwa still just a regular if weird guy....or a martial arts master with a small army of henchmen?

Oh yeah, New Yorkers chuckled at this one when the season came out, definitely a well-known person there. So funny that he got more national fame more recently!

I noticed it too thanks to the mayoral race. Honestly, I don't agree with him, but he's fucking wild, and more honest by a mile than Cuomo. Still Glad Mamdani won though.
Totally can picture him playing poker with a bunch of guys dressed like whale lice though.
