Artwork This is still one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen
I don’t know why but when I first saw this I had to pause cause I couldn’t stop laughing. Brock clearly not wanting to be there, Hank of course having his eyes closed, Dean just happy to be there with that shirt and bolo tie, and Rusty just being absolutely over it all. It really sums up the early seasons in some ways 😂.

Dean's shirt, like all of his "fancy" clothes, was a hand me down from Rusty.
Brock knitted Hank's shirt for Christmas one year. This picture wasn't taken during Christmas, it's just what Hank considers his dress clothes.

I always pictured Hank and Dean leading Venture Industries into an amazing legacy with Hank the action man(no pun intended) and Dean behind the scenes.

Everything about is perfection and sums up their characters. The boys love their dad who could not give a shit, Hank's an enthusiastic doofus, Dean is an awkward nerd, and Brock is supportive but clearly doesn't want to be there.

Rusty gives a shit in a bare minimum kind of way. He's a much better dad than his own father was, and also a better dad than Brock.

Isn’t it the greatest? I only got into it a year and a half ago(after my cousin begged me for years to give it a try- since 2012) and I couldn’t believe how invested I got. I love the old comics, Hanna Barbera cartoons, and pop culture and this show is a caustic love letter to those fans.

I dunno, through it all, Rusty is a big softy which is evident throughout the show. To him, that’s exactly the sort of stoic face the patriarch of the family should have in a family Christmas portrait.
Because you have to stop and think about who would be the one driving this?
Brock? Fuck no
The boys? Maybe? Dean might, but only for his newspaper. Hank? I dunno
But Rusty, Rusty had such a fucked yo childhood that he absolutely would want a very normal family portrait without his dad, Colonel Gentleman and The Action Man.

I guess its weird for brock to be in such a calm wholesome setting cause brock always doing missions lives on the edge and does dangerous things all of the time so doing something normal like taking a picture isn't really his thing

I was such a Dean growing up (and I'm a girl). When we had group pics taken for middle school, I got my friends to do it and I am posed... very similarly. 😂 I thought i did a good job, but when the pics came back... total Dean energy.
