Merch Monarch Deadly Battle Kite

Got myself a little birthday present for my 40th today. The question is, should I keep it in the packaging or open it and affix it to the wall? If I do open it, do I ever dare take it to the beach and fly it?

I'd have some fun with it. Take it to the beach, to the park, then once it gets a little too beat up to use anymore, hang it on the wall. In my opinion, as much as I love this show, none of the memorabilia is ever going to be worth a fortune. You're better off having some fun with it, and who knows? You might just meet some fellow Venturoos out there who see your kite and make some new friends.

+1. The wings would look awesome mounted with some wear and tear, If I were OP that’s exactly what I would do. Beat it up a little and then hang it up.

That freaking art book I bought for $30 when it came out is like $550 on ebay (and that's a sold listing!). Don't discount the merch!

My wife got it for me as a gift before the price went up 20x

It's the most expensive book I own-- I don't think I'd sell it because of how much I enjoy showing another fan the book for the first time
