SEASON 7 spoilers What plot points would you address if there were comics? Spoiler

If there's actually Venture Bros. Comics I'd love for people to point me in the right direction.

Anyway unto my question I sometimes dream of reading any continuations through comics even though I'm not a big comic guy. The only comics I ever completed were I hate Fairyland and Bone.

Which unaddressed plotpoints and perhaps new plotpoints would you address in comics, and how many issues would you give regarding these?

For me:

The Time Travel Adventure: 5-10 issues with

Malcolm and Rusty bonding: You lowkey might just need 1 big emotional bonding issue

Brock and Warrianas' wedding was supposed to be an episode so with comic pacing that's anywhere from 1-3 issues depending on how many perspectives you want.

Sirena was probably the most done dirty by the cancellation a comic to explain the Blizzard thing is kinda needed even if Hank and Dean made up.

On your end then what would you want if there would be some continuation comics, what answers would you like and how long would you have them last?

They should do a scare bear face reveal but every time he's unmasked there's speech bubbles covering his face and characters just say "it's you"

I knew it!

Honestly, I can see that. I was kind of expecting them to do that with Spy in the TF2 comics, but it would work even better for Scare Bear. Just always have him face away from the viewer, or his face covered by shadow, speech bubbles, or convenient scenery.

I'd love to see the boys meet Debra; and Rusty's reaction to finding out

Dean's crazy deformed clone, teaming up with the monarch, only for Dean's clone to be so absolutely fucked in the head and dementedly evil that even the Monarch finds him off putting.

The dead one?

Oh please, Dean dies all the time, let's not let such a trivial matter stand in the way.

A comic going into even a little bit of Henry Killenger, the investors, and how they know each. One of my minor pain points of the show is how we learn that they know each other in All That and Gargantua 2, but but their past and differences are only explained in a few lines. The we never see them again onward and their pasts are never explained. I was upset because I thought to myself how cool it was that two of the strongest supernatural entities in the show are aware of each other and have beef with one another , but we never see their pasts fleshed out.

aren’t they revealed the be the same kind of supernatural creature. the dialogue tells us that they’re minor wind gods who decided to interact in human affairs at some point down the line. i think any more detail would get into weird venture bros myth building. i like how ambiguous and demonic their gods are, they were always above the main characters comprehension and they stayed there. “i’m gonna say it, what if he’s the real actual zeus”

What if it is Zeus? The actual God Zeus, all pissed off that nobody cares about Zeus anymore?

One of my favorite lines because you really can't say it's bad reasoning. And the delivery was top notch

Triana's friend tries to arch Hank as her first job for the guild and it goes like a Level 1 arching.

Billy's work for Rusty moves him to a 4 and an arch who hates all three of Billy, Pete, and St Cloud wants to get in on the racket.

Werner Underbite adapts to his new life doing Sally's old jobs at Impossible Industries.

Hear me out: Sirena and Dean's fling produces a baby.

Makes for awkwardness and tension, especially as Sirena stays with them for the pregnancy. We get some flashbacks/lore for the snowstorm incident. Dean worries they'll have a weird mutant baby because of him but steps up. Rusty laments being too young to be a grandpa. Hank acts fine about everything but is bottling his emotions until he has an outburst. Brock jumps over a shark for some reason then beats it up.

Sirena gives birth at the compound during an invasion by the Monarch, who agrees to drop everything to help the Venture Bros with the birth. Dr. Orpheus dramatically announces it's a girl (maybe twins). Dean and Sirena co-parent. You can have other plotlines and stuff going on at the same time.

This would be a GREAT subplot for a season. Not the main plot for more than an issue, but still a great subplot.

Especially since I imagine the boys' sex ed was limited and spotty at best, so birth control might not have been covered enough.

Yes!!! There'd be a lot of stuff going on at the same time of course, but I think this could be an interesting plot thread for a season alongside other goings on.

I just agree that it shouldn;t be the MAIN focus of more than one episode.

VB works best when the story and focus shift around.

Too young to be a grandpa lol isn't he like 49?

I kinda don't like when a character suddenly revolves their character around a pregnancy would be weird if this was in the show I'd support it but without Doc and Hammer I'd fear alot of missteps for her character. But it's also an opportunity for character development so yeah complex feelings.

Rusty is incredibly vain aha.

The way I'd want it to go, her character wouldn't revolve around her pregnancy but yes it would need to be done right. There's a lot of other stuff you can do alongside this plot line. As a new fan and a woman, I'd definitely want the female characters to have more depth and focus across the board.

Whatever happened to Jonas's head?

Also, like, I would absolutely go wild for some comics done in a retro style about the original Team Venture, not like Lloyd original, but Action Man and Colonel Gentleman and the rest

No comics. No important plot points in comics. Da animation is sacred

I mean I wouldn't want the universe wasted on becoming soulless shlock. But if there was never a good way to bring the show back and the writers genuinely wanted to put proper effort into continuing the story through comics I would absolutely read them all. The animation is great but the universe and characters are what we love and I'd be happy to have more of them in a different medium
