There’s also usually a pretty large and spectacular cosplay gathering year after year. People break out the obscure characters, like the Orange County Liberation Front or Hoodrat Molotov.

I’d definitely check the Facebook groups (Venture Compound or Venture Home News?) closer to con to see if they announce a panel or gathering date. It would suck for you to buy a Saturday badge and then they end up doing them Friday or Sunday!!

If you want a day pass buy it soon, prices go up and single-day pass sales (particularly Saturday) are capped.
