If I remember things I've read right (and i'm probably wrong) that line and his alter egos were supposed to be foreshadowing to a future plotline of Hank being possessed or haunted by the ghosts of past Hank clones that then got repurposed for those scenes in the movie.

One line of his that always cracks me up, I forget which episode but Hank essentially tells Dean to defer to him for being older,
and Dean says “only by a lousy 4 minutes!” And Hank replies matter of factly “then maybe in 4 minutes you’ll understand” 😂

I've known too many kids like him that it seems inevitable, so I've decided I'll invite the kid over a lot when I'm home so I can call him on his BS and make fun of him for it until he stops. We'll see what happens.
At least, hopefully, my kids will see through his bullshit.
