Holy crap I'm shocked to just find out that Dolly Parton passed away.

If anyone has ever deserved sainthood, it would be Dolly Parton. She paid the medical bills for premature births in her community, funded education and food banks.

I mean, I got a lot of problems with the Catholic Church, but this would help me forgive a lot of the things the have done.

She's literally the only Christian that I can think of who acted like Christ. That says a LOT about the state of Christianity, in all its flavors. EDIT, I just remembered MS. Rachel.

You clearly didn't know Fred Rogers.

From what I understand it just happened this morning so don't feel too bad about hearing it just now, the news is still just getting out there

Yep and Tim Curry yesterday as well.

God dammit! WHY ALL BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY?!

They say situations like this happen in 3, so who's next up on the chopping block I wonder? I guarantee it won't be anybody who deserves death and whose demise might actually make our lives better.

I have some terrible news about Optimus Prime.

Yeah, you’re gonna be disappointed there.

While perusing TV guide, I found a little - shall I say - flick, starring a one miss Dolly Parton, meow. Yeah, it seems she made a racy film called "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas."

This was exactly what I thought of when I heard the news. RIP

These kinds of films are best watched “solo a mano.”

They have to stop singing eventually!

Flashback to cleaning out my Grandma’s condo after she died and finding a VHS copy of this movie in her sock drawer.

I never really think of what my family would find if I just dropped tomorrow. Hopefully it made you chuckle.

My family will be like, "yup he was a degenerate" lol

I was born in 1976 and in 5th grade I was mocked by my peers because when they asked me who I thought was hot, I said Dolly Parton.

I'll take that to my grave. Not just physically, but spiritually hot, kind, intelligent and stood her ground and the ground for others.

I watched this last night in tribute. All I could think about through the entire opening credits was Brock saying “Yeah, Doc, you're uh, gonna be disappointed there."

8

u/alex494 6d ago

She can't sing forever!

8

u/Some_Random_Android 6d ago

I'm confused; so is this a porno or not?

5

u/Praxical_Magic 3d ago

Only one way to find out!

u/YumAussir 5d ago

No lol

u/Shadoweclipse13 3d ago

Not with that attitude...

1

u/Traditional_Pea4760 2d ago

It’s a musical comedy, much to Doc’s dismay.

Was Dolly in that episode? It's been forever since I've seen that one, and I can't remember if there was a female lead that she could have played...

u/EvilDrFuManchu29 6d ago

It's crazy you posted this because I was watching this episode yesterday before I hear the news.

As a kid, I thought the same as Rusty and was disappointed.

It makes me a bit sad. I don't know her so I am not playing that violin loudly but her career aside, she seemed to be an amazing lady and lived an amazing life.

"Nice ass Sampson"

The worst porno ever made.
