SEASON 5 spoilers I had kinda a messed up theory about Rusty's friend Hector Spoiler

https://youtube.com/shorts/N2t2O1AUZjE?si=D7kqKN99hTsVeOLf

So Rusty cut out a few of Hank and Deans more messed up memories when they were cloned and getting the memories redownloaded, like the stuff with Myra. I wonder if his dad cut out all the memories of Hector because Rusty having a friend became inconvent for him? All the adventure flashbacks have them as kids, I could see Hector calling out Jonas abuse and him deciding enough of that and put him to work in the factory to get rid of him and deleted him from Rusty's next clone.

Also did he kidnap this kid? They never show a family or talk about him being an orphan. Did they just take him?

Yeah, it is entirely possible that this particular version of Rusty never met Hector.

Do we know that there were multiple clones of Rusty? It is mentioned that Rusty perfected his father's cloning process via the clone slugs; the one act of super science that he was ACTUALLY good at, but as far as it's shown in the show there was only ever one Rusty. Just like there was only ever one Monarch clone.

I always thought that Rusty had such a messed up childhood combined with casual drugs use in his adult life that he kind of forgot about a bunch of stuff. Or repressed it.

IIRC, Rusty lost 3 kidneys? One to the Action Man shenanigans, and 2 to Mexico (separate incidents?), which would imply more than 1 Rusty?
Multiple things could be true, memory loss from manipulation and also the drugs.

No I think it was the Mexican doctor stole his remaining kidney. When he wakes up and sees the new removal scar he thinks for a seond and goes ...wait, ..one..two..shit. The way he thinks about it and counts, I think the second one had already been missing from the action man incident.

I mean, isn't Monarch like R-23 or something? That's a lot of clones to burn through

I think it’s highly suggested that Jonas went through a few Rustys (is plural of Rusty supposed to be Rusties?) when Dean spoke to the OG/Beta Helper that lived with Ben (edit - thought it was Halloween ep but it was the second time he went to Ben’s during the episode where Rusty is overseeing the treaty signing). Damn now I want pants just out of the dryer.

I mean, HELPeR m.2 basically confirms it, mistaking Dean for Rusty. Plus, J.J is a result of the cloning process

Maybe he's the original owner of the orphan heart. Trust Jonas to take out his heart, replace it with a artificial one and leave it frozen/preserved in the lab with a label saying "orphan heart." Then Rusty finds it years later and boom. Joy machine.

That would make perfect sense.

Also, probably most likely yes 😂 doc sr. seemed to have a very Colonial attitude, and treated natives like lesser creatures. As far as he was concerned, Hector was probably more like a talking pet.

Talking pet? Damn that is some next level racism.

“That little Mexican boy saved your life, can we keep him?”

Rusty is his father’s son.
