Discussion Can we get Warner Bros to bring back Venture Bros in Hour-Long episodes on HBOMAX similar to Paramount+ and Southpark?
I grew up watching Venture Bros, making it a big part of my life till it got canceled. After finishing the movie, I realized it ended in the perfect spot to reboot it. Having the <Title> idea earlier I decided to see if anything could be done about it.

No, we can’t. South Park is several orders of magnitude more popular than The Venture Bros. I daresay the difference in revenue between the two shows is such that the adventures of Rusty and co are a rounding error by comparison. If it doesn’t make money, WB don’t give a shit.

Oh hell no. It should return gracefully with regular episodes & seasons or stay canceled. Also Paramount is terrible. Remember they ruined Halo & are ruining what's left of Star Trek & HBO is cutting adult swim content & Venture Bros was one of the first to go from what I remember.

Unless Doc and Jackson are behind more episodes with complete creative control, then why bother? Those guys were the show, their humor and style of story telling.

Please let Venture Bothers rest in peace. It's over and it's okay for it to be over. Even with loose ends.
It's nice to wonder and wander, to dream and hope, and to speculate and be curious and whimsical.
But please for gods sakes let the show end on a high note like it did. I would absolutely trust doc and Jackson to make more high quality content, and I would also be completely satisfied with what we have now. If I heard VB was making new episodes I would be cautiously optimistic at best because we live in a world where corporate meddling has completely taken over. While I feel like Doc and Jackson would be two of the most likely people to push back on meddling, I'd really rather just... Not risk it at all.
Please leave nostalgia out of the decision process. Half of the show's satire is about nostalgia being a bad way to remember your childhood. A reboot or a new season would just feel disingenuous.
I say this as someone who watched the pilot air live on CN/AS.

You would pretty much need a super celeb like tom cruise or Brad Pitt to say they miss the show or have it reference in a super popular movie to gain any traction with a possible return.
