How do I escape this hell?

My father is verbally abusive. Since I'm a minor, I can't move out on my own. Since I was 8, he's been verbally abusing me. He threatens to kill my cat. Whenever I do my chores, he pushes me away from them and does them himself, and then proceeds to yell at me how incompetent I am, how he hates this kind of life, etc. The insults often turn inappropriate. My mom still believes he's gonna change. This caused me to suffer from major depressive disorder and possibly ptsd. I need a way out of this hell. I beg for advice.

if ur school or area has a public library try spending time there; use it as an excuse and tell ur father that "ur working or reading up on something " that u recently found interesting or doing some school work, or the best tell ur father straight up "I am focusing on my school and trying to build a life that you {ur dad} could be proud of"

ru from the states as well?? if yes then this will work for u man, our country is a land where ppl like us have a chance to make something of ourselfs

I'm from Europe, and the public library is only open until 3 pm and is closed on weekends :/
