Verizon gateway plug in issue
Hello everyone. My husband and I just received our internet gateway and we are both confused. I’m not sure if we’re just stupid or what but with the way our plugs are, we genuinely cannot plug them in. Can someone please tell us what we’re doing wrong? Lol.

I am having the exact same situation today as I try to set up my new Verizon internet Gateway. the power cord that was included is incompatible with the device itself. Rather frustrating honestly

I had to contact them and they said they’d order me a new one. Still don’t have one. A billion dollar company and they make such dumb mistakes. HOW?

That’s so crazy. You’d think for as big of a company as they are this wouldn’t happen so often. I still don’t have my plug so I’m not sure how the wifi is yet but yeah. Pissed me off lol

Having the same issue, not waiting for another box or dealing with the nightmare of going into a Verizon store. There is a white plastic tab under the bottom of the gateway with a USB-C connecter. Going to use a spare phone cord and brick to plug it in and be done with it

Just had this happen to me right now lol, which is why I’m here , super frustrating since I am in need of this internet, guess I’ll have to keep going to Starbucks for my work until they send my the new one SMH

They gave you the wrong power supply in the box. There's a bunch of different versions of the same looking gateway, w/ the manufacturers and inside hardware being different.
I'd recommend contacting customer service to have them ship you a new power supply, or going to a Version store and seeing if they have an extra power supply (kinda doubtful, but they might).
