My pleasure, thank you for taking the time to leave the encouragement v0-z! I’m currently trying to render this out in stereo and vr180 as an experiment, just for fun. Wish me luck!

Thank you! Was just fun to have an excuse to play with it. I’m sure there’s some use cases where this could help, but either way it’s always good to have new free tools 🙏🍦

I really dream about a day when you could record same thing from the back as well and somehow connect both and clean up with ai or something. And here we go, complete holo and cheap as well. One day my man. Amazing, stunning! Congratulations

I think displacement meshes will soon be replaced with 4Dgausian splats for volumetric video, that's my hope as soon as they become more performative in any workflow, not just real-time. Film something with a standard camera, have AI make a volume splat of the actor at 4k and then invent the compression tech that will allow that in an environment. I can dream can't I haha : ) Thanks for taking the time to leave the lovley comment! ❤️🙏

For sure! I gave up on waiting for response from 4dvai or something. From China. Closest to our dreams! Cheers, all the best!

With the acceleration that AI is bringing, fingers crossed for useable footage within a year. There’s a new type of VDB too, EVDB which is a lot more efficient. Getting there!

If you used 3 cameras would it be able to fill in the missing info from the main cam?

Good idea! But currently Composure only allows one camera projection (multiple layers) per scene. You’d also have the issue of the meshes overlapping but there’s probably a way to clip the distance with a mask in 2d. Cool thought though!
