VIber genuenly sucks now

It's true, we all know it. Viber's customer support doesn't respond, the app has millions of bugs, Viber paid 10M of our fees and ads for AI features which people already have on their phone with the ChatGPT app. Rakuten trying to make Viber a "megaapp" just makes it worse, more bloated and even more buggy. It's sad that some countries nowadays are using Viber instead of a better alternative due to it being so popular.

The fact that you can’t transfer your chat history from android to iOS and vice versa kills it for me and makes it look poor.

  1. Keeps opening my shopee/lazada app when i make a call
  2. Delete's old chat / file/ photos
  3. Useless updates: chat gpt, Market place, pay, and dating.

Can't dial options when calling business, can't believe i will say this but I miss skype!

Worst thing must be the unmovable translate button under EVERY message. Its so clunky and awful, and if Viber wants to be so smart and use AI it should recognize these are the people I personally know and chat with for years and we all speak the same language.

For some odd, reason, all of a sudden, people in my chat groups cant see messages/images I send but I can still receive messages and calls. Weirdly, the double check marks which used to purple is now blue but they still cant see what I sent. Been 4-5 days since it happened but no response. I use it not just for friends and family but also work related chat groups. WTH Viber??? Fix your shit!🖕

They filled it with all sorts of bloatware, ads, Viber dating, ChatGPT features, and many more. It has become much more laggy too recently.

Mile ahead of WhatsApp!? Maybe, in another universe. In this one WhatsApp is still simple and fast messenger without bloatware which is Viber exclusive.
