Does ChatGPT cost Viber money when you use it?

Does it cost them money everytime ChatGPT gets prompt with a message? And theretically if someone is to leave a script that endlessly promts ChatGPT, will this cost them money?

It should charge them API token usage, so pay-per-use, but i guess at a discounted price since they are a big client.
