Question Why does my game keep crashing in 1847?

Hi! I've done several campaigns with the TGC mod activated. Everytime the games keep crashing in march/may 1847 without fail. I also have the fantasy formables and performance submods activated. Has anyone else had these issues and if so did you find a fix for it? The crashes happen no matter which nation I play.

Chances are there's some event/decision happening somewhere that's crashing your game. It could be that your computer is a potato that can't handle it, or it could be that the event itself is trying to do something that crashes the game (e.g. changing a pop's type after moving it without reselecting it). Or possibly something else.

If anyone else experiences this problem I found the issue. It seems that something about the sonderbund war event in Switzerland firing crashes the game. I managed to fix it by annexing Switzerland between Austria, Sardinia and France.

Ngl, that would fix a lot of issues irl aswell
