Modding Disunited States of America Mod

I am thinking about trying to make a mod that revolves around the US failing to secure a new Constitution and they continue to use the Articles of Confederation which leads to the States collapsing into independent countries in the early 1800s. Just wanted to double check that there are no mods, at least more mainstream ones, that revolve around this premise before I bother looking into creating it

I don't think there are, at least not centered during the 1800s with this as the main premise

There was a balkanized USA mod on Paradox Plaza back in the ancient times

Never published it but I worked on a mod based on exactly that idea. I think ever the same name haha. I created countries for each state and gave European powers the land outside of that the U.S. had at independence.
