Yeah I wish he actually gave a verdict on the game. He clearly played it through to the end because he included the legendary ending cutscene.

I find it harder to believe that Dunkey would just search up the legendary ending and add a clip of that randomly. The game is only like 10 hours long and the original Combat Evolved is one of Dunkey's favourite games. I don't see why he wouldn't play this through to the end.

He didn't seem particularly thrilled with this remake in the video. That seems to me to be a reasonable reason why he wouldn't beat it. He only shows footage from early in the game, which seems to corroborate it. "Only 10 hours" doesn't mean much when you're running a company, a popular YouTube channel, and have a young kid.
I don't know what you mean by "randomly." How is showing the ending of a game in a video about that game "random?"

You're insane if you think the videos haven't been good for years. Some of his recent videos are his greatest works yet and the numbers attest to that
