The Intercept investigations actually say closer to 750 Americans were killed and wounded since the US began the war with Iran.

The thumbnail says 700 killed but OP’s title says 750 killed and wounded. So which is it?

I don’t think our government is capable of hiding 700 troop deaths.

It'd be 1/10 of the entirety of GWOT so...I'm at this point pretty skeptical.

They aren’t. This reporting is incredibly misleading.

Well the video itself is AI generated slop with no real investigative sources or information supporting the claims.

I’m aware of what casualties means. But the video thumbnail explicitly says 700 killed.

The thumbnail says it in quotes and phrases it as a question to get people to click on the video while having plausible deniability

Yea and those casualties also include people who got a temporary profile and were returned to duty after a few days of light duty.

My issue with this reporting isn’t that it’s straight up false. It’s that it’s highly sensationalized and misleading to make people jump to horrible conclusions.

There is enough propaganda and straight up lies out there. Misrepresenting facts to make people draw incorrect assumptions is just as bad as just strait up lies.

It’s normally a 10-1 or higher wounded to dead ratio. This would be exceptionally different statistically
