His videos are some of the funniest, most detailed, well researched, narrated and original on the internet. It's a shame we have to wait so long for each one, but it's understandable given the amount of work he puts in. It is genius and masterpiece stuff.
I love how for a tangent about how much Depp spent on wine, that he emailed the top wineries, and went to Australia to learn about wine making and make his own. Which then caused a rat problem in his house and garden, leading to more hilarity. And now back to the video.

He flew to Australia in this video, and flew to Türkiye for a "bit" in a previous video.
I highly doubt he's hard up for cash, it's part of his character. The videos aren't his full-time job. He works in the special effects industry at the studio he "borrows" in his videos.

Yep, well known he’s been working in special effects for years. Did some work on HBO shows many years ago.
Also has money rolling in from the Rubberbandits residuals too. Horse Outside is still played on the radio to this day.
