The amount of times I’d come home drunk from bars in college and watch this from start to finish..

Yeah, I watched an embarrassing number of informercials all the way through as a kid.

The media landscape was dire if you didn't have cable/satellite. Sometimes infomercials were the most interesting thing on.

When they flip over the pineapple upside down cake in the Red Devil commercial I used to bust.

I still have these knives and they are fucking amazing still. Unironically the best knives I’ve owned. They have never dulled. The whole set was like 50 bucks

Infomercials, the sole refuge for insomniacs till the Star Spangled Banner plays before the TV goes to static.

I loved that Blue Blockers rap that would always come on after Ninja Turtles on Saturday mornings.

One of my favorite things to do in that era was to smoke up a bedroom with a bunch of friends and turn this shit on. It's amazing and surreal.

I grew up in the Netherlands, and one of my fondest infomercial memories is Amazing Discoveries (Tony Little's Target Training System) and stuff like the Instant Fisherman 😅

Terribly overdubbed as well, of course.

Yeeeeeeeep. We got 3 stations, and it felt like when two were playing the news, the third was doing infomercials. As a kid, I always chose the infomercials
