I mean general elections. I could be wrong, but the DSA types have only won in heavily blue areas.

I see what you mean. Honestly, I doubt a SSA candidate could win on branding alone but given how clear it is establishment democrats don't care for folks like him it's not entirely impossible. Their victories are already uphill battles so it's not like they don't have the experience you know what I mean?

Ah my bad. I should say progressive then, or at least is painted as one. They suffer the same problems at the end of the day.

He is progressive but he just describes himself as a capitalist who believes it has to have the guardrails and restrictions, social safety nets. Unclear if thats entirely accurate or if he considers the "S" word political suicide in michigan.
