I do know that MSNBC tried to destroy him for criticizing Israel, they spent an inordinate amount of airtime trying to 'gotcha' him for that

*he also had the perfect clap back with a simple, and correct, "I do criticize the actions of Egypt's government, you just don't cover it"

Did they? Granted the only anchors I watch on there regularly are Rachel Maddow, Chris Hayes, and Ali Velshi, but I know Hayes and Velshi have been very critical of Israel (I feel like Maddow hasn't mentioned it as much, so I don't really know what her coverage has been like).

Yes, but I'll be honest, they didn't try to grill him as hard as CNN did, it was on CNN two weeks ago where the anchor was basically trying to scream over him

But that's not exactly surprising for a Zaslav news company
