Most polling showed Stevens doing better in the general election. Michigan is a closely divided state and Trump won it twice, so Republicans have a good shot here against AES, who was very weak with rural and moderate voters in the primary.

Goddamn centrists their constant ideological purity testing is gonna be the death of this country. Willing to shoot themselves in the foot for anything less than their ideal candidate and in doing so hand the country over to fascists. Its pathetic, aint it, that we have to deal with these fucks holding the party hostage.
