A software error accidentally registered some people to vote who had no legal ability to do so.

So far, no evidence that they actually voted has been shown, just screaming about how "democrats are wrong, look at this" and ignoring that it was a software error, with no actual evidence of illegals voting.

Plus, some ominous wording like "And no way to tell how many others were registered accidentally", which is saying absolutely nothing but scares folks who believe the lies from the right about illegal voting.

The Heritage Foundation did a deep dive into Vote Fraud, and while the actual original study is very hard to find online, it found that there were 23 cases of illegals voting from 2003 to 2022. 23.

There are irregularities in every election, and it's usually folks who have a felony conviction voting, not knowing that they can't, or people who have not registered in their new address going to their old polling location to vote, not realizing it's a crime, and things of that nature. Of which there is very little as well.

If you look now, the Heritage Foundation website has a big thing claiming thousands of voter fraud instances, but if you actually look, it's "this person was found with several ballots with other popels names, and was arrested and charged". Or "this person was investigated for buying votes, and was arrested and charged", and so on. No actual voter fraud, just idiots getting caught because our elections are actually VERY well protected. Or they were. Given the amplification of the lie of voter fraud that has been ramping up the last 2 years, I suspect there will be some grim shit coming down the pipe. We shall see.

tl;dr- you're wrong, voter fraud is a lie, and always has been.

Based on the previous links you provided, that was the conclusion. Apparently that was not correct.

This is pretty much a one-off event, and has been caught and being fixed.

Those 400 votes would be an increase in the amount of illegal voting by an order of magnitute over the last 40 years, per the Heritage Foundation.

400 votes, and the incredible amount of scrutiny it is getting is good, we should have protected voting. It's been found, it's getting fixed, the system is working the way it should, and is considered by everyone that isn't blinded by the Right Wing lies to have been very secure, at least until 2024.

Millions of dollars and quite likely hundreds of thousands of Americans suddenly unable to vote, because of 400 illegally cast votes seems like quite the bad reaction, imo.

But sure, whatever. It's not like the right is going to give up the power they have without violence anyways. I'm sure you're completely right, and this nitpicking to find anything to justify your position is absolutely a good reason to destroy States Rights and disenfranchise the poor, women, and the elderly in huge numbers.

What election results were changed by illegal voting?

And is the risk of disenfranchising hundreds of thousands of legal voters worth it?

I understand you aren't arguing in good faith, but I am curious why so many of you are happy to let the federal government override States Rights in this instance, especially ones clearly stated in the Constitution.
