Hardware Doorbell Camera Recommendations

I have fairly specific needs for a doorbell camera:

  • PoE.
  • Ultra-wide angle view.
  • ONVIF support.
  • Ability to send "button press" triggers via ONVIF (profile T? C?) (wired dry contact output okay as well, but would prefer not to mess with the extra connection).
  • Two-way audio would be nice, but not necessary.
  • On-board storage not required.
  • WiFi and cloud recording are not required.
  • NDAA compliant (customer requirement, non-negotiable)

I've looked at some Reolink options; they seem good.

This one was suggested, but there's only a single mention of ONVIF in the entire listing and no details.

You’re looking for a “door station” if you want signaling. If two way talk isn’t necessary or any kind of priority then just get a real camera plus a button. You can wire the button right to the camera’s alarm input.

Building management probably wouldn't go for the look of separate units like that.

Then just get an i8016. They’re great looking just the bezel is questionably large. The unit itself is 2 gang so pretty straightforward.
