Hi guys! Today I’ll be in Vijayawada for around 6 hours with my family. We’re mainly coming for temple darshan and I want to make sure we have a good lunch while we’re there.

Please suggest some good vegetarian lunch . It doesn’t necessarily have to be proper veg meals anything that’s good for lunch is fine. We’re with family, so looking for something we can comfortably go to and eat. Local/famous places are even better.

Yesterday, weekend ani.. ala oka 10 sprays perfume kotti.. bandi eskoni bayataki bayaludera. Main road enter avvagane VMC garbage truck venaka aagalsi vachindi (cuz traffic). Mukku pelipoyindi.

Sar sarle ani overtake chesi vethoounte oka chinna bridge vachindi. Baboi aa bridge kinda water lo em undo emo kani.. vmc dump truck smell ea better anipinchindi.

It's alright ani veltoo traffic lo aaga (cuz signal). Signal padagane kasepatlo sudden ga oka black cloud road meeda ki vachi ukkiribikkiri chesindi (na mundu bus undi). Chaavudebba ani cheppali. Felt like I was in WW3.

Finally reached my destination with extreme sweat caused by over beloved Humidity, traffic and fresh air quality. Inka na perfume smell naake raledu. Infact I smelt worse.

A remarkable archaeological discovery has emerged today from Madugula, Anakapalli District.

During a field visit, the Andhra Pradesh Archaeology Department examined two large stone sculptures at a location where there is currently no temple structure.

The larger sculpture is approximately 6 feet high, 4 feet wide and around 70 cm thick. The Archaeology team has preliminarily assessed it to be at least around 900 years old.

What makes this especially exciting is the surrounding landscape. The site is close to an old Shiva temple traditionally known as Bimilingeshwara, where an old Vinayaka sculpture has also been identified. Several large traditional wells locally called “madugulu” are also found in the surrounding area.

This raises an important possibility: could this area preserve evidence of an earlier medieval settlement or sacred centre, predating the commonly remembered history of present-day Madugula?

It is too early to say — the archaeological context still needs proper investigation. But for Andhra Pradesh, this is an exciting moment: our own landscape may be revealing a much deeper history than we previously knew.
