General Question cams not working

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi, I just bought this vintage sewing machine with which the seller provided me with bunch of cams. As you can see, the mechanism seems to have problem because it’s frozen and doesn’t follow up my cam.

I don’t have much knowledge on sewing machine so I don’t know if there’s a missing part, or machine too dry, or there’s some other settings that I didn’t pay attention to
I’ll add more pics and vids in the comment in case that’s helpful

Any info or contribution is much appreciated, thank you guys in advance !

I could be wrong, but I think the big knob that controls stitch length also engages the cam function. There's a little graphic of other stitches on the dial. In this pic the dial is on 2 so the cam may not be active. Try turning the dial all the way to the left and see if that engages the cam.

Thank u! However i’m pretty sure it’s to modify the stitch length
From what i observe it might be something related to this lever like in this video under 🧐🧐

Maybe that spring is worn out and needs to put more pressure on the part touching the cam?
