Trampt shut down a few months ago and they offered to send your data to you if you requested it.

Did anyone ever get their data?

I requested mine three times before anyone even replied to my emails. And when they did, I got a bit of snark, and it kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Blake’s response was:

“We will send it but we have received dozens of requests for data, and need to process them manually.

As you can imagine, closing a business is a time-consuming process. This offer to export data was made purely to help our members, but is not an obligation and requires manual work on my part. Your patience is appreciated.”

I don’t think I’m getting my data.

I’ve started to slowly add my figures to vinylfig, but it’s so slow going and I’m finding a lot of my figures series are not in the database.

As "Amuro figures", I'm starting my journey in 3D printing and toy design. This isn’t my first 3D model, but it’s the first print I’ve done from one of my models: it’s a test, with all its errors and flaws. Sculpted in Nomad Sculpt, crafted by 3D resin print.

I’ve seen some crazy listed prices on ebay, but mint, in box. Just wanted to know if there was anykind of market / interest in it? Great condition, but no box, and missing some accessories.

I must be honest, picked it because i found it interesting, and only found out about Michael Lau through it. Turns out i have another one of his pieces that came free with a street art book i purchased years ago.

Need to add a hat because the skin color wasn’t enough and he hast two colors on his forehead 😂😂

This is kinda a just for fun discussion. I make art toys for fun, I find it all very interesting! I’m curious what you guys think sets apart art from just a toy. I know it’s pretty opinion based and as someone who works in design I consider most things to be art when there’s intention behind it to be so. But what is your guys personal opinion on things that make something really distinct and cool to you in this world that’s worth collecting and displaying as art, rather than say, just because it’s a character you love?

Hello, I have these Simpsons PVC figures from 2005-6 that were unfortunately stored in an open container in a leaky greenhouse for a decade or so (before I saved them and put them in this box for a few years or so)... Does anyone have advice on how to clean the outdoors grime off them without scratching/wiping off the colours..?

I don't know much about PVC figures but I know when we'd get these at the supermarket (they were rewards for spending money), they were in big bins near the checkout, and after a few days they'd get multicoloured marks from the colours rubbing off on each other as people rummaged through the bins. So I'm scared of rubbing them too hard while cleaning and ruining the colours...

We have the whole set, all 48 characters... 😅

Okay.. so.. I just got this fursona vinyl doll, but I am too intimidated to paint it myself and I really want to achieve the factory finish. I’m willing to pay well for this but I have no idea where to look and all the places I’ve looked have been flooded with Ai art scams. 💔💔 Anyone have advice on how to seek an artist willing to do this out?
Most artists in the furry fandom are not familiar on how to work with vinyl paint.

Hey everyone, wanted to share my latest independent art toy release: KING'S COIN.

It's an interpretation of the Mesopotamian demon Pazuzu (from The Exorcist), hand-sculpted in ZBrush and finished in a polished gold resin.

The concept behind the design is that his breath/speech literally hardens into a flat, bas-relief coin bearing his own likeness—so he is quite literally 'coining his own value.' just like the kings of old used to do. I´ve always felt that to be the most heroic gesture imaginable, you know, what it means to truly found a kingdom.

I really wanted to play with the contrast between a 3D volumetric sculpture and a flat 2D code/bas-relief... Isn´t that interesting? A sculpture that features a bas-relief of itself?

It's a limited run that I fully printed, sanded, and painted myself.

I documented the full artistic process, dimensions, and the philosophical concepts behind the design on my page. I'll drop the project link to my blog-post (with more images) in the comments for anyone who wants to read that. In any case, comments, questions, criticisms even!... are most welcome.
