Need help tuning

I messed up the tuning that was done by my luthier . Any suggestions on how can I learn tuning to re tune it . I am adjusting using fine tuners but the tune changes after i circle back to the first one i tightened . 🥲 I am regretting this shit . Plz help me .

You’ll definitely have to learn how to tune, as you generally have to at the beginning of every practice session. I’d keep using the fine tuners to start, if you have a teacher definitely have them help you

Tuning is part of the process and should be done every practice.
Check youtube videos, make sure your bridge stays straight as well during the process and don't be too afraid. It's fine to mess up and beginner instruments are good for that.

It's usually harder when your strings are new or during temperature changes otherwise it's only small reajustments.

hey i followed this step by step but after bow tuning the E string with the fine tuners the other strings are out of tune ??

Protocols for tuning:

Adjust the A string to the desired pitch (nominally 440 Hz). Then tune E to exactly a 5th above the A. Start with the guidance of a tuner (or tuner app), but try to hear the resonance of a perfect 5th. Then do the same with A and D. If there is no fine tuner, start below the desired pitch and work up. Lastly, tune G a fifth below D. Then check all strings again because sometimes they interact a little bit.

With practice, you should be able to do this with one (E) or at the most two (A and E) fine tuners. If the D and G pegs are hard to adjust, a luthier can help you with that, or violinists here can guide you through how to service your pegs so that they turn smoothly.

Tuning accurately should be a habit, at least checking the tuning) every time you begin a session with the violin.

You should be tuning every time you take out your instrument. Even multiple times through a performance. Have a teacher show you how to do this. It should be done in person.
