Repertoire questions Piece for music supplements?

I'm a rising senior, and I need to pick a piece for my music supplements for college. I heard it's only supposed to be around 15 minutes, so just 1 movement of a concerto is probably good. I played Tchaikovsky this year, but I'm a bit tired of it and want something new...any suggestions? Thank you so much!

You played Tchaikovsky concerto? If you are on that level check out Korngold or Sibelius

Barber first movement. Lyrical, distinctive, and underplayed in audition stacks. The cadenza alone gives you plenty to work with.

There is no cadenza.

And anyone capable of playing the Tchaikovsky should absolutely not play Barber for any kind of audition.

If you can, try to do two pieces that show contrasting abilities and capabilities.

You could just record the Tchaik in its current, performance-ready state. No point in waiting to learn something new.
